Long before GenAI sucked the oxygen out of every business meeting, I talked with them about being ok with finding your voice and leaning in to it. Your voice might not be for everyone, but that is ok, because it is authentically you.

I have spent a lot of cycles thinking about this. Swirling around, trying to elucidate my thoughts coherently, ending up rambling, the quest continues. Today I ran across this post by Adam Mastroianni, 28 slightly rude notes on writing.

Each pass revealed another “You are damn right” moment.

Read this missive and let it brew, I know it will be in my head for a good long while.

I will leave you with a snippet that spoke to me. Another is the title of this post. Read Adam’s work for the context.

My job is to carve off a sliver of the ineffable, and eff it
